The Hanoverian Succession Laws Were Based On Salic Law Which Prevented A Female From Inheriting The Title If There Was Any Surviving Male Heir And So The Title Passed To Queen Victoria’S Uncle The Duke Of Cumberland Who Became King Ernest Augustus.

On The Reverse Side Are The Words ‘God Save The King’ In 22 Carat Gold.
